"Llety Nest is a semi-detached cottage on a working farm. It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. "Room was nice and clean, though the bathroom especially was a bit tired. Parking in the pub is very limited and was often full, though on-street seemed fairly readily available. Breakfast bacon roll is best avoided."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Lion Hotel the room was clean and we had a good view of the castle. The staff were polite and helpful and the Welsh breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The bay at Criccieth is lovely, calm warm water and beautiful scenery. We even saw dolphins in the distance."

"Nice place we were there on Sunday night so the town was quiet. Great central location, we were on second floor , room was warm. Windows would open fully (only a few cms wedges open with a coupe of books) there was a fan but noisy so turned it off to sleep. No hair products in shower , just had wash ... so don't forget them. Breakfast really good , continental selection and hot food. We had dinner in the pub . Good pub food , nothing fancy but fine. Some of the waiting staff were a little inexperienced, but others quick to step in. Managed to get a parking space at the back of the hotel which was great as only a handful of spaces . Overall good ."

"I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant. Breakfast was continental (although you could pay to have a cooked breakfast) but the continental on offer was varied and there was lots of it. Would love to come back another time."
