"All the staff I interacted with were outstanding, and the hotel itself is quite nice. The complimentary breakfast offers a good variety and is more than just a typical continental breakfast. However, there were two downsides to our stay.
Firstly, the restaurant on the first floor played very loud music that could be heard from our room all day long, often until about 10 or 10:30 PM. We were on the fourth floor, and it felt like we were staying right on top of a club—the music was that loud.
The restaurant I’m referring to with the loud music has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor section located right next to the pool and hot tub area, which also played its own music. This meant we were dealing with two different types of music playing simultaneously, which was quite annoying.
The second issue that bothered us was that the pool, hot tub, and sauna all closed at 10 PM, which felt early, especially with no lifeguard on duty at any point. Additionally, our checkout time was at 11 AM, but at 10:50 AM, our keys no longer worked, leaving us locked out of our room while we were trying to load up the car—just 10 minutes before checkout."
"Charming B&B in a traditional house on the edge of Cowansville. Really helpful owners who gave advice on the area. They produced beautiful breakfast with pancakes or full English. Two ensuite rooms upstairs plus another. Staircase quite steep. Lots of seating area downstairs as well as an outside deck.
Highly recommended"
"Our stay was very enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had delicious breakfasts served with a smile by Naomi every morning. We will be back to enjoy all the amenities the hotel and the surrounding area has to offer."
"Beautiful property and room! I stayed here on the last night of a week-long solo holiday in the Eastern Townships.
I arrived on a Friday evening after the hosts were offsite and discovered that I’d booked a room on the main floor; I am a single woman travelling alone and prefer upper-floor rooms. I called the owner and explained the situation and she very kindly offered me an upstairs room at no extra charge. The bed was comfy and the toiletries were very nice. And as someone who has seasonal allergies I was impressed by how many tissue boxes were in the room and the building! :)
Buffet breakfast was included and it was delicious, with a variety of healthy items to choose from. The dining room and lounge were also beautiful! And, the desk at the front door had all of the cycling maps (in English!) that I’d been searching for all week.
Would happily stay here again!"
