"All the rooms are nice, but we splurged on a suite with a 3 person hot tub! It would be at least $500 per night in the city. They even gave us a bath bomb! We had robes and slippers and felt famous. Other hotels do this, but not for the price we paid. The restaurant was good with a great wait staff. The beds are super comfortable and the linens top notch. Definitely stay here! Parking is ample and free. "
"Great location. Push open the wood window, the cathedral towers are right in front of you! The staff is nice and helpful. I did not need to use the hotel parking since it is not hard to find street parking which is only 3 minutes walk."
"Staff were lovely and very friendly, rooms were clean if a little dated.
Bathroom door locks didn’t work.
No tea/coffee facilities or fridge in the room, however they do serve good coffee in the bar.
Convenient location and extra marks for car charging facilities!"
"On booking I outlined that the trip was to celebrate our anniversary. I booked a non smoking club room on a higher floor
What we got was a disability room that smelt of odour or smoke with curtains hanging of their hooks, a seat that had multiple cigarette burns
And some stains on the toilet seat.
We pointed this out at reception and they sent up cleaning staff who sprayed the curtains and room with air freshner and left.
We left to go sightseeing for a couple of hours and then returned to a still quite smelly room. I agai went to reception and complained to a women with purple hair who spoke to me in a very uninterested ambient manner saying you booked a basic room what else do you expect
I replied saying that my booking was for a club room and my expectation was for clean one free of tissue I mentioned. She then said I got a high room and there was nothing she could do."
