Very comfortable and modern hotel located close to the riverside and about 1 km from beach where you can swim. Riverside is lined with restaurants serving seafood. You can see the fishing boats from the hotel. About 15 minutes walk in to the main town, recommend tree hugger cafe for coffee and juices. The breakfast selection at the hotel was very good mainly Asian style, with bread, meats and jams plus omelette station, fruits and mini cakes. The roof top pool is very nice for a dip, could have some deck chairs to sit on. Dong Hoi is calmer and quite compared to Hanoi and a place for a night or two while travelling south or as a stop to Phong Nha for the caves.

Hotel qui accueille majoritairement des touristes vietnamiens qui se déplacent en grand nombre. L'hôtel est vétuste, et, même si le nettoyage est effectué dans les chambres et les parties communes, cela paraît sale. L'insonorisation est très mauvaise, on entend les gens crier, taper fortement aux portes des uns et des autres. La climatisation est aussi bruyante et peu efficace, mais le ventilateur fourni est plus efficace et a le mérite de couvrir les bruits extérieurs. Belle vue extérieure, chambre en mauvais état général, il en est de même pour la piscine qui offre un beau panorama. Les gens ont tendance à se baigner et ne pas se sécher. Du coup, le sol et les ascenseurs peuvent être très mouillés, attention donc à ne pas glisser. Il y a aussi des cendriers au niveau des ascenseurs à tous les étages, cela n'empêche pas aux fumeurs de laisser leurs mégots au sol jusqu'à l'espace dédié aux enfants à la piscine... Malodorant donc. Le petit déjeuner est généreux, mais pas européen et il est très difficile de trouver une place, surtout le matin. Le personnel n'est pas franchement avenant. Les échanges ne sont pas simples en anglais, mais on se débrouille. En ce qui concerne la localisation, on est certes proche de la mer, mais éloigné de tout. Les restaurants qui se succèdent au pied de l'hôtel sont tous spécialisés en fruits de mer. Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel, surtout s'il s'agit de se rendre aux grottes. Privilégier un hébergement à Phong Nha directement.

It is an environment with the sea and pool, so please enhance the amenities a little more. Increased shampoo and towels, etc. I liked it very much. I will definitely stay there again next time. It's the best.

The hotel is located in the outskirts of the town so taxi is necessary to get there but it is nice to see the ocean and take a walk without the constant honking of horns;-)

괜찮은 호텔임에는 틀림없다 하지만 리셉션에서의 서비스정신은 약간부족한듯하며 주말이라 해변앞 노점상은 새벽2시까지 노래부르면 영업을 하더라 가격대비 가성비는 좋은편인데 주변 환경이 쫌...... 잘만가면 정말 즐거운 여행이 될거다...

Pleasant 2 night stay

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Vinh Hoang. It is situated slightly out of town so a short walk was necessary for restaurants/shops. The hotel is clean and well maintained although there is an unpleasant smell in the corridors and also in the room (possibly from the drains). We were able to check in early which was very helpful after a long train journey. Good location for a day trip to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park

Decent hotel

The hotel is new and very clean and has a nice rooftop pool and a great gym. The staff was very service minded and gave allowed us late check out free of charge. The hotel is however not the most charming, and the location is not in the very center.

Nice for a relax

Nice and clean hotell with pool and work out facilities. The pool is clean but no sun bed. The breakfast is very good. A bit out of the city. 7 min by car. No problem though as you easily can get a taxi or electric golfcart for an cheap price.

Good service at Vinh Hoang hotel

The hotel should keep up with the daily cleaning of common area, like reception washroom, most of the time the elevator floor is wet, due to people using the swimming people. Beside that the staff is friendly and helpful.
