"This is an historic sprawling building situated on the river front. The front desk reception was very friendly and enthusiastic. She gave us a room on the second floor with balcony overlooking the river. Room was basic but comfortable. Internet was fine. Shower was good. Facilities in the room were relatively new, perhaps a few years at most. Bed and linen were comfortable. There is a minibar and fridge in the room. Breakfast consisted of a menu. "The hotel is very clean, 5-star style clean. I travel a lot, and I normally stay in 3-star hotels, and this hotel was by far one of the cleanest hotels, even when compared with the Hyatt. We stayed in the deluxe balcony room, with was super big. Lots of room. Bathroom had a proper shower enclosure, not like your typical asian hotel where the shower is a hand faucet next to the toilet."

"We had a fantastic night at the Coco Farmstay. The owners were welcoming and helpful, cooked us a delicious (and enormous!) meal, and we were able to hire bikes the next morning to explore the coconut plantations and waterways of the surrounding area. It's in a beautiful location - about a 10 minute taxi from Ben Tre, but well worth the few £'s it costs to get there. A really tranquil and peaceful spot, unlike anything else you'll find in the Delta. The only downside was the storm overnight...

"Wooden cabins set amongst a beautiful tropical garden. Friendly, helpful staff and great homemade food. Lovely to walk around the local villages (free bikes are available) and into the pleasant town. Definitely come here if you want a rest from Ho Chi Minh ! "
