The location is great for shopping. Mercedez Outlets and McAllen are nearby. It's a good deal for what you pay. It's safe and quiet. Keeping things clean is an opportunity. There's also some minor painting to do on some doors.

Family getaway

My stay was great.. The only issues i had was that the drain in the tub was plugged up everytime i showered and the door hinge bar lock was broken.. Besides that, Room was cool, TV and refrigerator worked, blackout drape was perfect, and the location of the hotel was right on.. Gas, fast food, shopping... great price for my 1 week stay.. I will comeback again..

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE

When we it it’s late at nite everything looked clean and normal. Check in went as one would expect for a 2:00 a.m. check in. When we got to our room the door was already open halfway, tape around the door lock, door handle, and no peep hole was installed ( there was just a whole). When I went back to the office to get another room I noticed the entire hotel was that way. I told the owner this was not acceptable and she started told me it was ok so sleep with doors open it was a safe area. None the less my son and I left and stayed in my truck in a truck stop parking lot and finding a new hotel. I will not stay there ever again.

We booked 4 nights, but left after 2. We originally chose to stay there because we had a dog with us and the pictures of the property and rooms seemed nice, and there was a “green area” to walk the dog. We were disappointed when we got there. The room has potential, nice size, but it was worn and the beds seem to made of concrete. There was ongoing construction outside, that was extremely noisy. Constant banging, metal cutting, drilling, generators going. There was no mention of that at time of booking or when we got there. The doors on these rooms are not flush and seem to be made of cardboard, so there was no break from noise during the day with construction and at night with traffic from the highway. The rooms were not clean, we found old food in the fridge and food particles on the floor around the table. The sheets seemed fine. The pool had newspaper floating in it and tons of leaves. Staff did not speak English enough to communicate our needs/concerns.
