Great for a one-night stay close to the hospital

The exterior of the hotel does not look like much because of the debris everywhere, so the room was actually cleaner than expected. The towels look a bit dingy though, so I would recommend bringing your own towels and washcloths. Other than that, it was pleasing for a quick one-night of rest.

You get what you pay for

Least expensive place we found. Just passing through, so only needed a clean, safe place for night. This fit that bill. First impression was unfavorable because of rusted shopping cart and 3 broken chairs outside a first-floor room. Items were still there the next morning when we left. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was minimal--milk, coffee, OJ, Danish, bagels, waffles. If you need clean and inexpensive, this works.

This was a stop after a 15 hour drive .hotel was clean, staff very helpful and friendly.got a ground floor room close to nice pool,enjoyed our stay.many places to eat close even within walking distance . Would reccomend to friends.

Best motel in Dothan

I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Guest House Inn....once I found it. Very difficult to see from the street. even when I saw the "entrance" sign. The motel itself was very clean and the person at the desk was friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Fair hotel at a fair price

No-frills, but clean, comfortable and inexpensive. Was 1 mile from the location of my business, and is right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and stores on Ross Clark Circle (EVERYTHING it seems in Dothan is on Ross Clark Circle!) Note: it is right across from the Medical Center, so it would be a reasonable place to stay if you have someone checked in there.

Decent hotel

Check in was ok - the lady at the desk was nice. I asked for a 1st floor room, got it. Beds were comfy. Sheets and towels clean. Bathroom and room were both very clean too - I looked around the baseboards and saw no crumbs, hairs, etc. I didn't use the breakfast, instead driving across the main road to a Waffle House. Didn't use the pool either, but a few people were swimming and it looked ok. If you're driving through Dothan and need a room for a night consider this hotel.

Nice - But

Clean BASIC room with frig. however, no shampoo, no hair dryer; paper thin towelsand pillows. Located conveniently at 84 and Ross Clark circle. Contential Breakfast closed earlier than most hotels/motels (9:00AM). Area around pool hasn't been mowed in months and likely is home to pests/snakes. Clustered guests in same area rather than spreading out.

mmm..not for me!

I was just there for one night. I have stayed in Dothan many times. I won't be staying there again though. I wasn't fond of the staff, they were a slight rude. There were bugs in my room ... roaches running around. The staff was very noisy in the morning. If you have small children and you wouldn't want them to learn "bad words" be careful because every word out of the staffs mouth was bad as they talked to one another in the morning. They blare the TV in the morning as they clean, even if you are sleeping in the next room. If you just want a cheap room and don't mind too much, then it should be fine.
