"This place was super clean and everyone we encountered was super friendly. Every time we went out or came in and walked by the front desk we were spoken to and asked about the things we said we were out doing that night. They offered us an upgrade on our room because of it being our anniversary."

Reminder to bring your white noise machine if insomniac, as hotel is in flight path from Louisville Airport, with UPS flights taking off every 5-7 minutes between 11 PM and 1 AM. Usually can counter this with running fan on room heat/air unit, but not an option at Tru."

"The property is well maintained and very clean. The BonVoy app made it easy to check in online and get a phone key before we arrived, and the process worked smoothly. There is sufficient free parking in front of the facility. We did speak with the staff at the font desk, and she was very helpful. The location was perfect for somewhere to stay overnight for an early morning event in Louisville. The only downside is the noise from the interstate and airport because of the proximity to Louisville....

"I'm giving a top rating because I think it's deserved even though I could complain about a few things. We were there Christmas Eve and Christmas nights on the 4th floor in 424. The value to us was tremendous because it was one of the cheapest rooms near my family's gathering. There were a few odd quirks like most hotels, and the finishing touches weren't great. Noise was moderate and wifi was good. They either couldn't get much staffing for Christmas or lowered it on purpose, so the trash was...

"We were welcomed by a friendly smile at the front desk upon arrival and immediately felt welcomed! I did not try the breakfast because I walked a very short distance to a bakery/coffee shop where we had a delicious breakfast. This was a good experience all around and we would definitely stay here again! "
