"Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard. "Tolles Hotel mit wunderbarer Aussicht rundherum in die Weinberge, allerdings nicht auf den Douro. Sehr ruhige Lage mit Anfahrt über schmale, zum Teil sehr steile mit Schotter bedeckte Wege. Freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Danke auch an das Housekeeping. Top Service der Bar bis zum Pool. Badetücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Gutes Essen im Restaurant auch noch recht kurzfristig möglich. Super Frühstück. Ich mochte auch die kleinen Infotafeln auf dem Weingut am Wegesrand."

"Excellent facilities and outstanding food & wine. We much enjoyed our two nights stay here. On a scale of one to ten this is a clear 9. Only those tiny details refrain us from a ten. Such as the wine tour where we met in time but it had started. Down at the parking check-in all good but some improvements perhaps when guests are down there during the stay for other reasons such as a waiting for a cab. "The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"
