"Wow! What a great find in douro area. Beautiful historical property in a vineyard. The hosts go out of their way to be helpful with anything you need. Clean large guest rooms. Be sure to join them for dinner. Tasty local full course dinners with wine from their vineyard. We can’t wait to return for another stay"

"Great stay. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. The hotel itself looks brand new and is beautifully arranged. The restaurant is excellent. Only small complaint was the road and parking at the top of the estate near the hotel was a bit confusing. They said there's still some parts of the road under construction so this might not be relevant in the near future."
