"We booked this property as the picture on website looked nice. It said we would share bathroom only with people in our party, this was booked as non-refundable. "Hotel is centrally located on the main market square. Don’t use their car park as it will cost you £15. I paid £7.80 to park on the square till 12 noon following day. Free or cheaper if you leave earlier. But my main gripe was that they could not provide me with any à la carte breakfast items even off the buffet. All I wanted was 1x egg on toast and a cup of coffee. I told the staff that due to recent weightloss surgery I couldn’t physically eat any more to warrant paying £12 for the full breakfast buffet."

Cambridge Quy Mill Hotel & Spa in Cambridge

"We had a nice overnight stay in this hotel, the evening meal in the restaurant was really good and the breakfast was excellent (we both had the delicious Eggs Benedict but also appreciated the fresh fruit pots and mini pastries). Room was clean and the only reason I've gone for 4 stars is that the plug in the bathroom sink got stuck although when we reported it to reception we were offered the chance to move rooms so they did try to rectify the situation. The only other thing to note was that our visit happened to coincide with a party in the marquee outside although the loud music did stop at midnight and we had received a message from the hotel earlier in the week warning us there was an event on so not a big problem. We're planning on a return visit to make use of the spa facilities."
