"Check in was easy with plenty of staff. The rooms and hotel property were clean and updated. The hotel is centrally located downtown next to the Gerald Ford and Grand Rapids Museum. "Very disappointed. The hotel was extremely clean but could not get maid service on the second night after three requests. They had no clean towels untill 8PM. The shades would not go down and they would not fix them. Pool and fitness center were not very nice at all. "We've stayed there 2 years in a row for a Girls' Weekend in downtown Grand Rapids. We even booked the same room the second time! Just loved it! Close to everything in Downtown! All the restaurants we went to were great, reasonable, and within walking distance (and I highly recommend Tupelo Honey, which is right across the street). "This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. "fast and friendly check in. Great room quality nice mattress and air conditioning. Well insulated sound walls gave quiet peace, even with boys baseball team running around. Breakfast food is well prepared and plentiful with wonderful assortment of choices. pool in nice for stretching but small for full laps. Temperature was perfect. not too cold or hot."
