"We were really happy that we chose this hotel for a short stay in Grand Rapids. It was really nice to have the extra space with a living room/kitchen instead of just in a hotel room. The breakfast had some good choices. We went for dinner at a wonderful seafood restaurant that was just a block from the hotel."

"The Finnley is more an Air B&B than hotel. Excellent location, easy access, and felt private. The room was very well decorated feeling like a loft apartment. The bed was comfy. The only recommendations I would give to the property manager would be to provide more towels and a larger trash or a suggested place to take trash. A note: there is no parking at this hotel. The parking garage across the street cost us an additional $48 per night."

"Excellent location in downtown Grand Rapids. We enjoyed taking with the staff and had wonderful cocktails and conversation at their bar served by Marcus, the host bartender. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. We enjoyed and highly recommend."

"Great location and parking was easy! Rooms were clean and new but the beds were so soft that everyone woke up with a sore back. Also, the lack of carpet in the rooms made it very loud between floors when someone was walking above. Overall, a great stay, but a few things need to be addressed."
