"The hotel is very filthy. There’s no emphasis on even keeping the main areas clean. My room was so dirty that I had to be moved to a different room once the hotel was no longer sold out. My friend wasn’t able get a clean comforter for her bed therefore she had no bedsheets to sleep over a three day stay. Our toilet paper rack was hanging off the wall. Our sink in our bathroom did not drain nor did it have the cap in the sink that is usually there to catch things. The staff are very unprofessional. I watch security guard getting into it with someone walking past that appeared to be going through something mentally. It could’ve got really unsafe and ugly for those who were present. Honestly I never saw housekeeping the three nights that I stayed there."
"We dod valet parking and it was great. It rained so staying at The Peabody was an excellent choice. There is so much here, you really dont need to leave."
"This hotel is in the perfect location for all the activities you want to enjoy. With the Trolley, and Court St. Park at your front door, and Tom Lee Park to the rear, you won't need a car. Beale Street is on the Trolley line, as is the Orpheus Theater. Well worth checking out if you love convenience. Five Stars."
"The staff was not unpleasant. The property was okay-ish; it needs updating. The conference rooms for the conference we attended were okay-ish. The room was okay-ish. it was relatively clean. Overall, the experience was okay-ish, excluding the parking situation. The charges for parking are egregious. They changed from $25 per day (1 month before our stay) to $32 (2 days before our stay) to $35 all before we checked in. This did not include taxes and a random unspecified service charge that came with it resulting in $40 per day to park with no other options. I failed to mention the frequent smell of marijuana on several of the valet that lingered in the vehicle each time it was brought to us. This odor was also pervasive in different areas of the hotel.
