"We stayed at this property a few years ago and were impressed. This time not as much ( early April). The new owner clearly is not as focused on keeping propery up. The breakfast is no longer provided by the restaurant and they are clearly cutting corners on costs. The weekend staff Easter weekend were laughable. "Very clean hotel in a vibrant and interesting neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, Mont Royal, shopping, Metro and McGill. Old Montreal is within walking distance as well. Courteous friendly staff. I have stayed here 3 times in 4 months and always had a great stay. Highly recommend "

"We booked this hotel 9 months ago to visit Montreal and celebrate Easter with family. We were contacted less than a week before our arrival to inform us that the hotel was closed for renovations and would not be open in time to honour our reservation. This was very disappointing and last minute. We then had to scramble to find a place at the same price point, in the same location available for that weekend. This was very poor planning.
