"Great location a block from the water, restaurants, and shops, and a beautiful view of Morro Rock from the room. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was big and clean, plenty of onsite parking. Complimentary tea, hot chocolate, and fruit in the office. A great value. Would definitely stay here again."

"The room was clean, spacious and comfortable bed. The only "bad" observation is the limited parking, we got lucky because a guest was leaving at the moment we arrived. Very close to harbor area and it has a view of the morro rock. If you plan to check in late, call them. My husband and I forgot to do it and almost lost the room. After 10:30pm there is no help in the front desk."

"The parking is the worst if you own a 1/2 ton truck, so you’re better off parking on the street with low risk of meter maid tickets. My room did not have an ocean view, but I walked over on the second floor there is a patio that has that Ocean view. Walking distance to the Embarcadero is what makes this Hotel the best location."

"The room was clean and spacious. We had a first floor room with a large enclosed outdoor patio with a couch and chairs. It was nice to sit outside and read a book."

"Loved this property! It’s was very clean. Loved the themed decor. We had the Octopus room with view of the coffee house across the street with a peek a boo view of the bay from the balcony. We went on Memorial Day weekend & it was very pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place on the table & electric fire place in the room. Beds were very comfy. We will be going back & get a room over looking the bay next time. Highly recommend!!!"

"Parking was good. Room was big, but average. USB outlets didn't work. Fire alarm was disconnected and placed on mantle by fireplace. One window would not open. They accommodated pets, which was primary reason we chose place. Would I stay there again? Not for the price I paid."

"There were issues that maintenance said the remodel folks didn’t finish taking care of. The shower was very tiny. The convertible couch was very comfortable. The bed has a metal pedestal that was too close to the edge of the bed, foot kept kicking it. The location was perfect! Bedding had some stains(I hope) on it."
