Using the nearby Path trains does add an hour to reach the WTC for those with a Manhattan focus. Great hotel stay with easy walkway to Newark Penn station

We had a fantastic few days at the Westin. The staff were so helpful. It was central for everything, especially the subway. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

Cool hotel near Grand Central Station. Nice area - not too busy, near restaurants, transport and shops. Hotel is boutique style - not big rooms but that’s NYC. Staff are lovely - Judy and the team. Water was replenished daily although note no coffee maker in room. Close to all night deli and loads of places for breakfast. It was a really good choice and would choose it again.

It was just as I expected. It was not noisy at all (being so close to Times Square). I booked a room with a bunk bed and it was as small as shown in the pictures so definitely as expected. Stay was comfortable.

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.

Fantastic location as the hotel is close to subway station so can easily get anywhere, but it’s in a more peaceful part of town. There are loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops around. Our room (two double beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about Kixby. The location is as safe as it gets,easy walking distance from Penn Station if you come in by LIRR/Airtrain from JFK(30 mins hassle free way to get into Manhattan) and the subway is 50 yards from the front door. There are the best selection of bars,restaurants and eateries within minutes of the hotel as well as Maddison Square Garden and the Empire State Building. I stayed in several hotels over my stay in New York but this is the one I enjoyed the most. The location, close to Korea Town, was vibrant and very central. A tall building, it provides lovely views on its upper floors. There's a bar at the top and the hotel itself had an upbeat, sociable vibe even though my stay was near the start of a week. The room was clean and cleaned well every day, the room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the location was great, although some might feel it is a block or two too far east, the staff/team could not have been more dependable, helpful and professional- each were real gems .For the price in Manhattan it was just what I’d hoped for. Sure it does not have a lot of extra general amenities but the room was fully kitted out and it all worked and I don’t need a spa etc . Will visit again .
