"I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed staying here. It is smaller than the big name hotels and maybe a little older than some newer boutique places. The grounds are beautifully kept. The staff at all levels were professional, helpful and responsive to requests and inquiries. The no frills rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, sufficient storage space, and adequate furnishings. The bathroom area is small but suitable. I found the room to be very quiet. The thick, solid walls prevent noise from other rooms or outside areas. (However the next street over is lined with gay bars and that side of the building is probably much noisier on weekends) The air conditioning units work really well and cool off the space quickly, the thick walls keep the coolness for a long time. The pool area is small but well maintained and not crowded. No noisy kids or party types. Most of the people there were older couples, straight and gay, and everyone was pleasant and respectful. There is a poolside bar and tasty snacks are available. Other features included the free breakfast with poolside seating, adequate with several good choices and fairly good coffee, and plenty of free parking. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main downtown area so we could walk over for a bite to eat or a drink, shop or wander the weekly street fair on Thursday night Overall it was a great choice for PS hotel stay. I will most likely stay there again on my next visit."
