"The staff at the front desk was incredible — exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Unfortunately, once we checked into the room, the experience changed significantly.
The room layout was very awkward and not what I have come to expect from a Marriott property. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, the shower lacked a door, and the nightstands were so small that there was barely enough space for essential items, especially for someone who needs to set up a medical device while sleeping.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of any designated outdoor seating area for smokers. I have stayed at many hotels and have never encountered a property without at least a bench, chair, or small area outside to sit.
Additionally, there was no complimentary breakfast offered. The only option available was a Starbucks on-site where guests must pay separately.
Overall, from booking to checkout, this stay was a disappointing experience. While the staff deserves recognition for their kindness and professionalism, the accommodations themselves did not meet expectations. I will most likely return to staying with Hyatt properties in the future."
