"We’re a couple in our 30s and had the most amazing time. The hotel was spotless (thank you to gala for cleaning our room so well) and the view was beautiful. The walk up the hill is a bit steep in hot weather but it wasn’t an issue for us. Food options were great too - we chose half board. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they all genuinely seemed happy at work, always upbeat and welcoming to everyone. We noticed too that if anyone tried to leave towels on the sun beds that the lifeguard monitored it. At meal times staff were always over within a minute or two to clear the table and constantly topping up the buffet so it was always full. I can’t recommend hotel Florida enough! "

"Hotel was fantastic, a short taxi ride or 30 min walk to the centre. Breakfast was a wide range of options, although I probably wouldn’t do half board again as the evening meal menu was quite limited. Whilst the food was good, across 3 nights I had the same meal twice due to the reduced options for half board guests. Pool area was great except the life guard was more interested in reserved beds than saving lives. I had put our towels out and then went to sit at the poolside lunch area and the lifeguard removed our towels because we hadn’t left any personal belongings in them. I could understand if we had reserved them and left the hotel but we were sat a few yards away in the eating area! The back street mentioned in other reviews for noise, wasn’t too bad but there are a number of bars/clubs lining the back street so could be seasonal? Although the maids were vacuuming outside the door every day pre 9am which I think is not acceptable when people are on holiday resting. Would definitely use the hotel again "

"The staff are extremely friendly making you feel special right from check in to restaurant! Nothing too much trouble. The views are amazing from every room of Santa Ponsa bay. The food is freshly cooked and beautifully presented. also cooked to order with a theme each night such as seafood or Spanish. There is a dining terrace overlooking the bay and if you time it right you have a front row table every time! We had a central Junior Suite on 3rd floor overlooking pool and the bay. It was very spacious with two single beds together which made a huge King size bed. Only criticism is bathroom needs attention. It is only separated from the bedroom by a wooden arch. There is huge jacuzzi bath which I can’t believe anybody uses and just takes up space. Also with the amount of counter space under the long mirror I feel there should be two basins. However the shower and toilet are in a separate room. Although the room is very spacious it is little tired and modernisation would be welcome. The pool and poolside is kept extremely clean and sunbeds checked every day. Not too much bed reserving so you can have breakfast and still get somewhere to sit by the pool. There is no beach as the hotel is built into the cliff side but there is a small jetty to jump in the sea. Overall the hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood with a few bars and shops a short walking distance and Santa Ponsa town 15-20 minutes walk. It’s the staff and views that make this hotel special. "

"just had a fantastic 4 night stay here, with the all-inclusive package. The food was excellent, and we never had to queue too long to get drinks. The pool area is beautiful and we never had any issue getting a sun lounger in the mornings. We used the free shuttle bus to Palmanova too which was great. The rooms are comfortable with an excellent shower."
