"Staffs were nice and accommodating to our requests. Breakfast had good selections. The place is very close to the beachfront. Location was close to the ferry terminal. We would stay here again in the future."
Brentwood Bay Resort - Adults Only (16+)

"Nothing special about the rooms which, were accessed from outside. Expensive stay. The main draw is the Spa, pool,etc which we didn't use. Our dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Michelin star quality. Location was good for Buchart Gardens and excellent for the ferry which was right next to the hotel. There is a large pub for middle of the road dining, frequented by locals. It was very busy. Overall, it was excellent for a spa-oriented stay but otherwise expensive and nothing special."

"Totally worth the extra cost to get a beautiful balcony overlooking the Harbour. Such great staff. Clean rooms fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and stove! Turn on the fireplace to take off the chill. Amazon."
Thunderbird Motor Inn

"We had a wonderful stay here for two nights while we visited the area for my partner's birthday. We both agreed that the bed in the room was our favourite part. It was like sleeping on a supportive fluffy cloud and we both slept so well which is new for us. The staff were lovely, the room was clean and the shower water pressure was out of this world good!! There's a mini fridge and microwave and sink but no dishes or utensils so bring your own or hit up the dollar store a few blocks from the Inn. We had planned on getting breakfast and dinner at the diner that is featured in the listing for the Inn but it looked long closed down and boarded up so we had to pivot. The coin operated laundry was such a bonus because we anticipated getting damp on our night kayak tour and the whale watching tour. We fortunately didn't but if we had gotten wet on day one and there wasn't a laundry room we could access, the nightmare of putting on wet clothes for the next day's all day tour would had significantly brought down the experience. So it was wonderful to know we had the option of clean dry clothes if we needed it. Parking was ample, location was central, supermarkets, food, Starbucks etc, all close by. The rubber covering on the stairs to the upstairs rooms was a little scary as the step edge fittings weren't quite attached and we definitely tripped a few times going up and down. A great expereince all round. Thank you!"

"I make a yearly trip up to Vancouver Island to spend a weekend with friends and I always book a stay at the Super 8 in Duncan. It’s a nice, budget friendly property with wonderful staff and good location. You’re halfway between Victoria and Nanaimo, so there’s a lot to see and do in either direction, not to mention all the things in the nearby area. I’m already looking forward to my next trip up and I’m always happy to stay at this location."
Poets Cove Resort & Spa

"We had such a wonderful stay at Poets Cove on Pender Island. The facilities were fantastic, with everything we could have wanted for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The views from the balconies were absolutely beautiful, and having easy access to the beach, outdoor pools and gym made the stay even more special. One of the highlights was being able to sit out on the balcony in the evening and watch the deer lay sleeping on the hot tub cover and the otters playing in the small waterfall. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience, and a real bonus to have nature right outside our door. We also loved the spa. It was incredibly relaxing, and there never seemed to be too many people using it, which made it feel calm and peaceful. Poets Cove is a beautiful place to unwind, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing island escape."
