"The room was nice and clean. It is looking a little tired though and needs updating. The upper pool and hot tub were the only available because we went early May. But they were clean and well maintained. The property was being worked on to get ready for summer vacationers so there was lots of business as staff did their jobs. Food was fine in the lower restaurant but the service was terrible. Staff walked past us as we waited to be seated. Twice apologized as they did tasks other than seating us, and again apologized when nobody brought our drinks. The location is stunning. And the grounds really pretty. Pool was the hilight."

"Didn't really have a view of the ocean from our room....also the TV didn't tilt making it difficult to see from the one side of the bed...I liked the space...the garage height was only 6'6" making it to low to park our car in...thank heavens the public parking across the street was $8 from 10 pm to 7 am...which worked out fine and much cheaper than the $25 they were going to charge ....but i really liked the space, just sad we couldn't see the water"

"The people walking around on the floor above us was disruptive to our sleep. We mentioned it to the front desk the next morning - he suggested that perhaps management would look at soundproofing the floors and ceilings with the next reno. Front desk staff in the evening was ok just not as warm and welcoming as I was expecting, but the guy who checked us out was most helpful the next day. Would definitely consider staying here again."

"Check in process took about 20 mins as you need to upload ID and visa info even if prepaying online with Expedia. Told to use Expedia chat to communicate with hotel?? Hotel didn't take visa for preauth had to be done online. They are trying to go digital but very inefficient and time consuming especially for elderly people and not tech savvy. Staff didn’t seem very helpful, said all info is on the online portal re: restaurants but didn’t offer any extra info at all. Nice location but wouldn’t stay again. "
