Sidney Waterfront Inn & Suites

"We were a family of 4 and brought our cat & it was our first time visiting Sidney. The deluxe 2 queen bed with ocean view was so incredibly amazing. The window & balcony view of the ocean was SO beautiful. The fresh air was amazing for our stay here to reset & recharge. We stayed visited here for 2 days, 1 night & wished it was longer. The free summer concert in the afternoon on our 1st day here was so fun and had a great community vibe. The included breakfast with room service with no additional charge was the added bonus. Staff was so friendly and helpful with responding to emails so quickly. This room type is in their new building so it had an elevator plus it was super clean and the jacuzzi tub with a window view of the ocean view was amazing. The sunset & sun rise view from balcony will never be forgotten. Definitely recommend for anyone. We will be back again 😍 Thank you for a wonderful stay experience here 🙏"

"The SPA was closed for the whole long weekend... even though the Hotel advertises it self as Hotel & Spa. A small microwave in the room would be good to have to warm up your coffee and croissants that you have to buy since there is no breakfast; Nespresso was a bonus! Rooms are excellent and the views from the balcony are amazing, if you have on of those rooms with balcony (not every room has it). Location is fantastic, and the park in front is awesome."

"We didn't like the digital login as it took a long time to get right. We also were a bit panicked about getting our access code, but it came an hour or so before check in. We would have liked more coffee and milk and sugar, but no housekeeping until after 9am on the morning we were leaving. We were disappointed there was no USB login plug. The rooms were lovely. The frig and freezer excellent. The daytime 3 hour free parking was really appreciated. The bottle of wine was a treat. We were glad to see a staff person when we checked in. She showed us how to get to our room. The location is very good."

"Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The Villa Ciele room 422 was amazing with a fantastic view of the valley below, ocean inlet, Downtown Victoria 30 miles away and the United States across the sound. Beautiful gardens as well surrounding the villa. The restaurant was excellent as well for Breakfast, Brunch and dinner!"

"Our stay at Thunderbird Motel in Duncan was okay overall. The property is quite old and could use some updating and better maintenance. It’s not the best or most modern motel, but it was acceptable for a short stay. With some improvements and more attention to upkeep, the experience could be much better. Overall, an average stay."
