"Overall, our stay was good, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The lobby staff were not very friendly and did not seem very patient with international guests who, like me, were unfamiliar with the area and needed some guidance. A little more kindness and understanding would make a big difference. The air conditioning in our suite was not strong enough for such a large room, making it less comfortable than expected. The breakfast was also quite expensive for what was offered....

"Ein Hotel welches in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber durchaus durch seinen Charme besticht. Parkplätze sind zwar vorhanden, aber nur begrenzt und am Wochenende vollkommen belegt. Umliegend gibt es leider nur kostenpflichtige Parkplätze oder Parkplätze, die eine Zeitbegrenzung von zwei Stunden haben. Einchecken verlief problemlos, Auschecken hingegen etwas umständlicher, das kein Personal vor Ort war."

"The hotel is centrally located and was quite lively with a great restaurant right on the Elbe. The room was clean and VERY spacious with lovely river views. Jessica at Reception was wonderful. A great place to stay in Bad Schandau!!!"

"Sehr gute und zentrale Lage, trotzdem ruhig. Man hört die Kirchenglocken, dass war uns vorher klar und hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Speise-und Getränkeauswahl war toll und sehr lecker. Besonderen Dank an den sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Barkeeper!"

"Amazing hotel. Clean, big rooms. Air conditioning (not every hotel has it lol). I’d give the location ten stars if I could. Minibar is included (2 beers, 2 cokes, a Fanta, some juice and 2 bottles of water inside, 2 additional bottles on the counter) , stocked coffee maker. Night was quiet and restful. Never heard another soul. Rooms are soundproof and hallways have thick (!) carpet. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had. Thank you !!!"

"Stayed here overnight as we were travelling back home. Good 4 star hotel with lovely helpful staff and very nice evening meal. hotel was clean, quiet and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice."

"A bit hard to find the reception, but friendly front desk, free parking, transit passes & sauna were great. No air conditioning, front desk & sauna hours are limited, no laundry. The parking requires some steps and/or a long walk, but you can drop baggage off at the front of the building."
