"I know that this is an older motel however they have redone major parts of it. The paint is fresh. Everything looks real good even the curbs are painted outside. Our bathroom was immaculate. Looks like they just redid the shower walls very recently. The pool was clean well maintained, the breakfast was excellent! Staff was helpful with the local restaurants, etc., although we did eat at the in-house Mexican restaurant."

She even noticed right away when my truck wouldn't start and gave me a jump. We have stayed here two times so far and will always make "The Charleston" our first choice. "Was here for a one night stay, easy to find location, and only a few miles from downtown Asheville. Room was clean and had free water and coffee, plus a fridge! Everything was clean and comfortable.
