"What a wonderful place, probably our fifth or sixth visit over there the last 20 years. Safe, peaceful and in fact Belvedere is unchanging, the whole area highly controlled. It’s Gods window, a place I am so happy and content. A wonderful place to stay. "

"Absolutely stunning! The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The grounds are lovely which make for a very relaxing stay. Lots of choice at breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful room with the most amazing view. Eating a delicious breakfast on our terrace was just heavenly. The staff here are wonderful, they couldn’t be more helpful, but never in an intrusive way. I’d like to give a special mention to Tracey who greeted us with a smile and answered all our queries. The only minor niggle for us was that after a week of travel we had planned to do our laundry here but they are not currently offering a laundry service however we did find a self service...

"Fabulous large room overlooking Knysna bay. A short drive or uber into the waterfront. Great friendly welcome with local knowledge- Great tips for restaurants etc. Five star breakfast brought up to our balcony- a real treat👌"

"Wow!! Where do I begin?! This was the best experience I have ever had at any hotel! Jossy our welcome host was Amazing! We got welcomed with a drink & bottle of Champagne. The establishment was impeccable! The attention to detail is unmatched! The owner - Bianca also came to me us at checkout to get a feel of our experience!! Best Place to stay in all of South Africa!! Will definitely be back to spend more time there! Oh - Amazing views from the rooms too!!! A+++ Experience!! "

"Cecil and Colleen who were our hosts were so friendly and helpful, and our Premier Room's sea view from our room and private balcony was superb. Breakfasts were so enjoyable, with a good choice of cold and cooked food. Parking was also great and secure."

"Lovely peaceful guest house. With just 5 rooms this is like living as a local. Cooked to order quality breakfast at a sensible time of 0830 , nice little pool with decent sun loungers. Our sea facing room was superb . Other rooms are garden view. Free to use kayaks, range of bikes to explore the local area. Honesty bar and plenty of reading materials. Thoroughly recommended. "

"This is not “Wonderful “ as advertised. It has not been looked after with dirty old chairs and sunbeds, and unkept pool area and ground There are dogs on site, which came into the food eating area several times. The owner removed them but didn’t control their return. The photos of the room was very misleading in the size.."
