Would not stay here again. The room, pool, staff and view were terrific and the highlights.
However, for a hotel charging the prices they are charging there are some fixable deterrible flaws.
Only 2 of the 10+ restaurants allowed kids - which makes no sense at all given the effort they put into kids at the resort (kids pool, library, babysitters etc). Id suggest do time restrictions on kids or have only 2 as Adults only.
For those who dont know, Dubai traffic is some of the worst I have seen in the world. Because of the abundance of trendy restaurants on site, there is a huge amount of people trying to get in and out all the time. It took us 45mins to travel 300m into/out of the resort then to have more traffic after. They need to build a better system and create a hotel guest only quick access area (or vice versa).
We had a late flight and understandably had to use the pool facilities to freshen up. No hair dryer, no shampoo in either of our showers.
Although the staff were friendly and attentive, we did feel that there was too much attention put on visiting restaurant people wanting a quick instagram/flashy pic rather than helping their paying guests.
Finally, this has nothing to do with the hotel and not affecting the score BUT a warning to travellers. This resort attracts a certain cliental who all they care about is flashyness and how good they look and have a certain ego and self importance to them. If you are of quieter wealth, not for you!
Not worth the cost.
