We stayed at Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy JBR The Walk Apartments from 24th to 29th October to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday, and everything was perfect! Although the staff couldn’t guarantee a specific room before arrival, we ended up with the best room in the building - a stunning penthouse with six bedrooms and the most unreal view of the Palm, Dubai city skyline, JBR, and the Arabian Gulf. As soon as we walked in, there was a birthday cake waiting for my mum, which set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and everything worked smoothly, from the kitchen appliances to the air conditioning. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. My mum had an absolutely unreal time - memories we’ll all cherish forever. Thank you, Sonder JBR team, for making this milestone birthday truly special!

WOWWWW Absolutely wonderful. We booked the a 3 bedroom apartment for 7 nights. Family of 5 (3 adults, a teen and a child). 3 bedrooms all had very comfortable queens beds and all had ensuites. Main bedroom had a bath tub. There was a fourth room with a single bed. It too had an ensuite. The apartment was very spacious. Views were amazing... Jumeirah beach and all the activities that you could imagine were at your fingertips (too expensive for us but many other people were enjoying them). Food was delicious but a little too pricey (expected it though for the accomodation we booked). Very, very clean. Service was very friendly. It was immediate and only a message away when using the app. If staying at Rixos... you can charge to your room. If staying at Sonder, you meed to provide a credit card and ID at the bar and pay the tab at the end of the day. It's best to ask a few staff for an answer as you'll get different answers to questions from different staff... but you'll get an answer. Sonder was close to everything, grocery stores, Juneirah besch and the walk, taxis were easily accessible. Beds like clouds and shower was great. Will definitely rebook Sonder for our next family trip.

The view from this hotel is fabulous. The Hotel is amazing, the restaurant are in abundance and all walking distance and i mean 2 to 3 mins. The beach is lovely, clean and private. There is nothing about this hotel that i can say is a negative.

Excellent, spacious apartment. Lots of amenities nearby like restaurants & shops. Staff very helpful, we had a small issue with the apartment and on highlighting to Sonders, they tried to fix it, when they were unable to, they moved us to another apartment without delay. One small down side…kids cannot play with anything in the pool…inflatables and balls aren’t allowed, which seems strange as their is a separate adult pool for those that don’t want to be disturbed. Most kids play with something on holiday in the pool. If they can’t have inflatables, balls or jump in pool, is a bit disappointing for them.

No cold water first 2 days No water 3rd day at all Half the lifts stopped working Penthouse floor had untidy and rough finishes Wasn't a good experience traveling with a pregnant lady and 2 young children, having no toilets of water and having to wait for lifts that were then full. I wouldnt be staying here again. Spoke to a guest who had stayed there last year and said the lift were broken then too. Real shame as the location and pool/beach is perfect.

I've visited Dubai many times and I've never been asked to pay extra for room cleaning, change of bedsheets ect. This hotel expects you to clean your own room and change your own bedsheets. They will leave it at the door. This was a very unusual experience for me and my family. We had to do it ourselves because we didn't have the money to pay for this additional charges.

In the heart of the JBR area the location of these apartments was fantastic. There are lots of restaurants all within walking distance. The Dubai Marina is about 15-20 minute walk away. The apartment was huge. Beautifully spacious and very relaxing with everything necessary for a relaxing stay. The only thing I would say is that a more comfortable, and larger, sofa would have been brilliant. The one sofa in the apartment was a sofa bed so wasn’t particularly comfortable to sit on.

Dubai was fantastic. The sonder was beyond incredible for the size of the apartment. Location was great and the pool was amazing.

Honestly this place exceeded my expectations. My children and I booked a 3 bedroom apartment and all I can say is - WOW! It was absolutely amazing and had all of the comforts of home. It was so spacious and had amazing views of the Dubai and the bustling JBR. The pool was spectacular and had great food and a cool vibe. Will surely be coming again!
