Exploring Dubai on a boat
The only 7-star luxury hotel in the world as well as the tallest hotel in the world. This pic was taken from the moving metro without going all the way to the compound. I came for it but wasn't inspired when I found out that one has to pay to get in (no exception, not even to the reception!). One can only get in if one is paying over US$100 min (high tea) to at least US$200 for a meal per person! That's downright robbery! Not to mention a room a night would set u back by over US$600 at the least! Yes, it is exclusive in that sense but I reckon I have better use of my money! I did see a documentary around 15 years ago on the establishment so I have a clear idea of what's inside. So, if chosen to go in be aware it is already 15 year old this year! I suppose one can take a cab to the nearby public beaches to take a photo of it or to the souk nearby. I visited the souk but again it is a man made tourist place which is not too interesting! #dubai #architecture #hotel

Everything from check in to check out was amazing. Entire staff was always ready to assist in any way. Housekeeping staff made sure our stay was perfect and comfortable. We stayed in room with great palm, pool and beach view.
