"The Rose Room was beautiful and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming!"

"The pool was nasty and water smelled really bad. No clean pool towels and hampers and all trash cans we passed were full. No bedding or pillows for pull out couch. Asked but only got a pillow and handed me the pillow case to put on myself which was fine. Glad we had a couple of throws in the car. "

"This hotel is a bargain. It could be a little better maintained, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I stayed here once before and I returned to stay again. I would recommend it -- especially for people who want a clean room at a bargain price."

"Had a great stay with my boyfriend. Breakfast was amazing. The pool and hot tub were clean with plenty of towels, my only nitpick was that the hot tub was cold."

"I was only needing the room for about 8 hours because I was driving in from Houston for Orientation for my young one so we didn't get in until 1:30 am . The air was but it smelled of old cigarette smoke, the toilet seat was broken, the shower head was broken and there were dead beetle all over the floor and a spider in the ceiling and I actually paid $90 for 7 hours for this crap!"

"The room was so beautifully designed and decorated. We played games in the yard, walked around the property had amazing hand crafted drinks at the bar and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The TV had Roku, so when we finally went back to the room it was easy to watch from any streaming app. We woke up to breakfast at the door in a retro Stanley lunchbox with a thermos full of coffee. It was very clean and everyone that worked there was helpful and kind."

"Unit is old and there were roaches in the room. Bedsheet were old and felt damp or maybe it's the humidity, i don't know. Pillows were old as well. Toilet flush was coming off, had to insert it back in to be able to flush it. Towels didn't feel clean as well."

"It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable.
