The staff was so nice and helpful. the neighborhood was close to all the attractions in the city, short walk to the river and to the transportation. our room was lovely, and clean with a good sized bathroom. we would definitely recommend."

"Great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. The bus from the airport dropped us off directly outside and there were always taxis available into town. Saying that the walk was only 30mins. The hotel itself was lovely, clean & modern. There were so many options for breakfast we were so spoilt! Best of all were the staff so friendly and helpful. "The Mespil Hotel had the best breakfast of our 2-week trip to Ireland! Nice to start off with a hearty breakfast before touring all around. Great hotel and very helpful staff. Near the Grand Canal which we enjoyed walking, as well as other nearby neighborhoods and restaurants. A little bit further from key downtown attractions but easy to get there on foot, by bus, or quick taxi rides. LOVED this hotel!!! "

"Nice and quiet. Staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. Location is unbeatable. Only docked one star because I was not thrilled with the bathroom. They've opted for super-modern design, complete with the partial wall of glass for the shower with no door or curtain. Water wants to go everywhere in those. I don't like them. Period. And the drain was very slow so we did have to run the shower at halfway on to avoid a flood. Other than that, it's a good place. I will certainly consider...
