"The hotel is in a great location - at the entrance to the harbour where all the yachts moor for the night and just a few minutes walk to the town centre and restaurants. The hotel is a delightful heritage building with a small garden in front and terrace with a beautiful view. The facilities in the room were good. We loved the Occitane products in the bathroom! The staff were lovely and gave some great recommendations for beaches and restaurants."

"The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. "

There are plenty of sun beds available that are very comfortable, there is a no reservation rule which means there’s none of that getting up early to get a sun bed, the hotel is situated very close to the sea with a beach bar, the hotel is about a 15 to 20 minute walk into Stari Grad along a lovely promenade. "Clean rooms, AC and very helpful staff. I liked the balcony with the clothes line to dry wet clothes. Very useful for the location. Nice location and taxi convenience. The breakfast needs to be updated with better options and improve the quality. The eggs were cold both days."

"We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town...

"Overall we had a wonderful stay at Valamar Amicor Resort and would be keen to return. The facilities are great and our children particularly enjoyed the variety of age-appropriate water slides and pool toys.
