"My sister and I stayed in the Hunter’s Lodge, and were able to visit nearby King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks easily due to its location. LOVED the place. It was a mix of hotel and cabin vibes, with shaded spaces to relax outside and good amenities. It was awesome being next to the restaurant, and they offered options for traveling lunches. "The room was nice and roomy and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and everything was in working order. My only complaints was there was no A/C or fan so it was hotter inside than outside, when we opened the windows it cooled off a good bit though. The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. We stayed here just passing through but I’d love to come back and stay in one of the bigger cabins and explore the lake someday soon!"

"Very close to kings canyon NP. Hard to find such cheap place with private bath so close to the NP. These are really big houses split into smaller hotel-like rooms. Check Expedia messages on the day of arrival for details, as it took us quite some time to find the right door in the dark when we arrived as we had no cell connection thru the day in Sequoia.
