I liked the location, which was relatively close to the National Park. The lodge itself had everything you needed. There is no A/C in the rooms, but did have a fan. I didn't need it because I went in early May and it was still nice and cold. The restaurant could have been a lot better. Barely felt like a restaurant. You ordered using a Touch screen and someone would bring out your food. You had to grab your own plastic utensils and really no wait service. Food was ok, nothing special. Just expected more of a personal touch. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay and a a lot of great hikes.

Location is conveniently close to attractions. Very limited food options, bed was uncomfortable. There were cobwebs in the inside upper corners of windows and behind bedside tables. Cushions on chairs had torn up seats.

Only shortcoming is lack of dining facilities. The park restaurant had decent food but is basic and a walk from the hotel.

We arrrived and checked to see when our room would be ready (we were early) we were able to get a short hike in, still many roads closed because of winter travel. Shopping, visitor center walkable from the lodge, dining room food was decent you order at the desk and it comes out kinda of carry out style to your table. Lodge is rustic and what I would expect at a national park. Most visitors hung in the lobby around the fireplace and played games in the evening because to get other places is probably a 45 minute drive. The road is windy and at times foggy so getting places quickly is not an option.

Property is good but you can hear noise or kids running around. The lodge shoud not accept reservations if in those months most of the activities or roads are closed.
