"3 of us booked single rooms for a stay while seeing Iron Maiden at Knebworth. Didn't want to drive from Sheffield and back the same day as the show. We had left it late to book rooms and this was the lowest priced place anywhere within an hour's drive of the gig. Evening meal was excellent, with lots of choices and drinks well priced (actually lower priced than our local pub). Breakfast also good quality and well priced. Staff very helpful. "Shame we're not local or will visit Wendover again anytime soon, as we'd stay here again, no hesitation. Great location right in the middle of the town. Secure carpark. Lovely room, great size, neat, clean, can't fault it. Very helpful manager and staff. Breakfast choice was great. Bar and all grounds kept clean and tidy and the whole place had a lovely 'at home' feeling - shame we couldn't stay longer! Thanks for the hospitality - highly recommend."

"Staff friendly. Room was on top floor not ideal as no lift and my partner is elderly. Room was noisey due to hotel air conditioning systems being located on that floor. Bed comfortable but noise prevented good nights sleep. Breakfast was good and grounds are nice. Room rate for the Saturday overall I would say not worth it and would only stay again unless I got a deal."

"Everything about the stay was first class, I can’t fault it at all. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, the cask ales on tap were good and in this day and age the price of the room was very competitive. I would definitely stay there again."

"Rooms were basic but clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough to choose from. The hotel is a next to the train station, and the train brings you to central London in 30 minutes. The hotel is easily reachable by car and has free parking."
