"I needed a one night stay before my flight. Although not an ensuite i had a bathroom along the corridor to myself. Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport. Yes some bits are a bit tired, but for the price paid excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again when flying from Newcastle Airport. "

"I booked this last minute as our other booking cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay for a nearby wedding. Wow this is a gorgeous place. Everything from organising an early check in for us to the lovely breakfast the next day was amazing. Our room was like a suite with a lovely super king bed and the bathroom was also massive. For the price you pay it’s such a good deal and we will be returning and might book the golf or evening meal as add ons. "

"A lovely village pub. I didn’t have a dinner, however, the breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was really nice, with freshly made coffee, which was good. The rooms are above the pub, my window faced the outdoor patio but I didn’t find it noisy. The room was large with a comfy double bed, and a nice sofa style chair for one. "For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away."
