"We had a lovely vacation at Marriott Curacao beach resort. Although you could tell the hotel has some age-related wear, they've been maintaining it in all the key areas. Shared washrooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooms were also clean and very practical/well designed. Lots of storage. Nice wood look tile flooring that was mopped daily, which was great for controlling the sand you inevitably bring in. The lobby and restaurant areas were all attractive and the beach was beautiful. Although pricey, the food was excellent, especially compared to most caribbean vacations. The only two drawbacks were the fact that there were really only 2 restaurants on site (so maybe better to venture out to neighboring hotels every few nights) and the slower service at the Asian fusion restaurant next to the lobby. Our waiter at the beachfront Iguana restaurant, Jaylo, was great - so friendly, responsive and obviously customer-service focused. Thanks for making our vacation so enjoyable."
