"This place was so great! Location couldn’t be beat and rooms were just beautiful. The staff were all so nice and helpful with our bags and transporting us to and from our car. "A rather lovely spacious place and for an excellent off-season price, but we felt like we were a bother. As well, we couldn’t find an open restaurant for supper anywhere within walking distance, even with the help of 3 different locals. A bar graciously provided grilled cheese and ham. Being alone in the “hotel” with no desk as expected didn’t help. The place was just not friendly and not helpful— you’re on your own!"

"Fabulous hotel in old town, great location within easy walking to restaurants and shops, lovely rooms, firm and very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast with all the usual choices at a European hotel plus a menu offering made-to-order omelets, scrambled and fried eggs with choice of meat. One of the best breakfasts ever! The best part was their staff....so friendly, helpful, amazing people. I cannot say enough about this stellar hotel. Stay here!"
