"We stayed in the Floatel & it was a fantastic experience, once you get over the 'sea legs' feeling! It felt very special & secluded. The only downside was the shower which was very poor pressure (not enough to be able to wash my hair) & very temperamental temperature. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but with the motion of being on the water you just dealt with it. We stayed for 2 nights which was enough. The restaurants within a 10min walk are very limiting. Just basic pub grub or greasy spoon which was a shame. The hotel itself, was very pricey for drinks & the restaurant a bit too high end for a not a high end few days away."

"Parking was difficult, however we have a blue badge so it wasn't problematic for us. There are no ground floor accessible bedrooms but the staff changed our room to a lower floor, not as many stairs to climb. They were our only issues. All the staff were really helpful, pleasant, happy to go the extra mile. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. Choice of juices, cereal etc plus a full cooked or whatever. Highly recommend."
