"Best staff ever! A lot of coffee in room Good amount of parking space. But Smell in room is horrible when you enter and than goes away. may be because type of wood that covers the walls. No aircondition in hit of 30-35 c No refrigerator in room Again, staff are the best"

"It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it"

"With no staff, remote check in, nobody to approach in case of difficulties or emergency I would NEVER stay at this property again. Room eas very small, took the meaning of "minimalistic" to a different lavel - smsll bed, two little wooden chairs acting as tables, no door to the bathroom, no net outside door to alloe sir to get in on a sweltering hot nightbut allowing bugs to get in !!"

"Titlis lift walking distance, amazing breakfast. The hotel is cozy and the village beautiful and amazing. One of our best holidays. Hotel is not 5 star, didn’t bother us. It is an old building with lots of character. Breakfast catered to vegans as well as avo-lacto. Staff helpful. Train station 1 minute walk. "

"hallo, das Hotel ist eine Zumutung. jede Jugendherberge ist besser. kein Restaurant wie angegeben Keine Bergansicht sondern auf den Zwischengang der Häuser Das das Bad incl. WC auf dem Gang ist hätte expedia deutlicher und auf deutsch beschreiben müssen. Dann ist auch noch 1 Bad auf der Etage nicht nutzbar. Toilettekasten steht lose rum nochwas: im Zimmer gibt es nur 1 Steckdose!!!! da steckt schon die Lampe. Aber wir haben alle aber mindestens 1 Telelefon Frühstück haben wir uns dann gespart."

"I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time."

We had a beautiful view from our hotel balcony and the hotel is situated just a fifteen minute walk from the town centre, which worked out really well in the end as this was a more peaceful and picturesque location for the hotel.
