"Check in was easy. Room was clean, comfortable and nice and quiet. The bed was a little too soft for my liking. The property was a nice treat with a pond and animals. Would stay here again. "

"My first time at the Elm, loved it. Gracious staff, clean, vaulted ceiling spacious room, plenty of lighted, secured parking next to the building, modern electronics plugs, excellent view of the lake as you check in and dine on the 4th floor. I'll be back!"

"The A/C made the room feel sticky and humid, no proper ventilation in my opinion, it was basically a fan attached to the side of the wall, could tell it was old because every time it came on it released a weird smell, also the pillows were not that comfortable, very bland, no neck support, made sleeping pretty rough…but other than that everything else was great"

"Only issue was whoever stayed in the room above 205 walked like an elephant. Kept us up until late and woke us up in the morning earlier than we planned by two hours."

"Bed smell bad, sheets where not clean had to get new sheets and had to change them myself, the front desk was not welcoming at all, property was very dirty, the bathroom was even dirty, the too. Smell humid."

"The property is a busted down former decent travel hotel that has a pool in the back that’s filled in with dirt when I arrive. The elevator was not working and they told me the only room they had was on the third floor and it’s a walk up the lights were not working in any of the stairs to get up to the third floor, but I was exhausted having traveled all day so I did it. There was no blow dryer in the room and the room was hot when I got there, the air-conditioning was not on in the entire hotel...

"Ash was very cordial and the breakfast staff were very nice, but the property was not well maintained. When I went to take my children swimming in the morning, there was a dead squirrel floating in the pool, that had likely been there for a couple days (which also means that my kids and I had swam in that pool with the dead squirrel the day before). The maintenance person said “oh, yeah, the psi on the filter has been reading high for a few days, I guess that’s why” He got rid of the squirrel...

"Everything to me was great I did have a positive stay the room lighting was probably the only thing that was ok for me but everything was good from breakfast to tje bed super comfortable 😌 and like u can access the building from different areas n didnt have problems woth are key cards definitely a plus"

"Was woken up at 12 am but front desk staff because they had put us in the wrong room but didn't know til 3 hours after we checked in and were in bed. Fortunately we did not have to change rooms but made for a rough night sleep"

"We stayed for 4 days and 4 night. The whole time we asked for the trash and fresh towels daily. And not once did housekeeping pick up our trash. And the only young black man that worked nights was any help. He was always polite and he would give us fresh towels. Other than trash not being picked up or not getting fresh towels. That was okay."

"Wouldn’t recommend, many places in the area near the same price that are much cleaner and nicer."
