"Arrived for check in at 3:15 and was told our room was not ready. Seriously? No rooms ready at 3:15 for check in? After calling several people in housekeeping, the clerk, Trinity, finally was able to connect with someone and was given several rooms that were ready. We were given the 1st room. However, upon opening the door, there was still bags of trash, food, etc. on the floor. However, it appeared the bed linens and towels were fresh. Back to the counter, waiting in line again, the clerk was apologetic. Clearly not her fault. She herself, left the front counter, went down the 1st floor hall to check another room, and it was ready. We went in that room. There were NO towels! Back to the front counter. Clerk informed us that housekeeping laundry was backed up with laundry. This, to me, is unacceptable. There has to be a better way for the clerk to assign rooms and know when rooms are ready. If "our room" wasn't ready, why not assign us a room that is. (It seems that we were assigned a room, say, room 400. It wasn't ready for check because of a late checkout. If the room isn't ready, why not give us, say, room 200, which is?? I don't understand that system.) NONE of this was the fault of the clerk. There seems to be poor communication between housekeeping and the front office staff of which rooms are available. And yes, I agree "reserving" a room, but be a little more flexible to make sure that guests can check in when they arrive. Perhaps more staff needs to be hired."

"It said “ocean view” which wasn’t true- it was a view of the patio and dunes! But it was clean, had all the kitchen basics, coffee, comfortable beds and nice toiletries and towels. We had a great deal but next time I’d pay for 2 nd floor and a true view of the ocean. It would be worth it!"

"No , my room was dirty and i stayed 4 nights never once was my room cleaned ., trash piled up . There was a dirty toilet and dried blood on the bathroom floor with trash in the trash cans all this was upon entry on my first day . And unannounced maintainance worker showed up to do scheduled tasks . "
