"We booked this hotel at the very last minute and it completely exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself looks new and in great condition. Becky, the front desk agent, was extremely welcoming and gave us a run down of everything. Check in was smooth and easy. "Great hotel, just off the interstate close to restaurants. About a 10 minute ride down to the river walk along the Cape fear river. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean. We stayed at Tru by Hilton for a two-night trip to visit Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, and it was a great choice!
The hotel is a great value for the location—just a short drive to Wrightsville Beach and perfectly located near plenty of great restaurants and shopping at Mayfaire Town Center.
Our room was very clean, and every staff member we encountered was professional, kind, and helpful. We truly couldn't have asked for a better option for the price and location.

"I just loved it here. They also had a pool and a gym (although a bit dated, was functional). The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. They provided a lot of snacks if you have children. Breakfast was not the greatest, but I realize that it is hard to get a quality breakfast in many hotels, so I did not hold it against them. I found enough to be satisfied."
