"If you are wanting to be close to Glasgow but not in the city centre then this is a fab hotel to stay at. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station and it’s only 20 mins into the city for around £5 return.
The hotel was lovely, with a nice breakfast.
Our room was exactly as described and the shower was the best I’ve experienced.
The hotel has a great bar but there is a pub around the corner across the road from the train station.
A lovely place to stay in a lovely location."

"The Park Hotel is a lovely hotel situated near to Kilmarnock town centre. The room was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable.
Although I never used the facilities I did have the breakfast which was plentiful and very enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone and I will be staying there again."

The breakfast was good with a wide enough variety that something different could be chosen from day to day. The only downside was the ability to get around without a vehicle of our own.
