The COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in dramatic changes to how we travel. If you plan to jet off to East Bohemia, the following tips will help you navigate these new challenges and rules:

• Find out what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so check before you lock something in.
• When you go through airport screening, keep your face mask on. You will be required to lower it briefly for ID purposes. Travellers who refuse to wear a face mask may be fined and denied entry.

• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA employee will need to open your bag for inspection.
