"Bed sheets where stained… the room smelled like cigarettes… pool wasn’t working due to not passing inspection.. other hotels better than this dump"

"I have to explain my poor ratings because not everything was bad. The first room #7105-we were assigned was absolutely horrible-the carpet and hassock were stained in numerous places. There was no hot water. The toilet flush handle was actually broken, which we discovered the hard way, couldn’t flush. And when I tried to call the desk the phone wasn’t working! Only one bed side table & lamp. When I called via cell, the desk didn’t initially offer an apology and agreed to give us a new room. No apology or recognition of the inconvenience. Or credit or refund offered. New room was fine. Lobby excellent, very clean, good security fencing and gates around property."

"Greeted upon arrival by friendly staff member. Room was very clean and well appointed. They have a great coffee bar, each cup made from freshly ground coffee beans. Breakfast was certainly enough to get your day started. Would stay again."

"I booked a handicap room and also a room for my friend and her husband. When we checked in, I was told the handicap room wasnt available because of how busy they were the night before(?) He told me he had one on the second floor though. When and why would a handicap room be on the second floor??? The room I ended up with, the toilet wouldn’t flush. It took 3-5 flushes to get it to go down. I had no electricity to the outlets on either side of the sink, no hot water for a shower, and no wash clothes. My friend's room (next door to mine) also had no hot water, no wash clothes, toilet wouldnt flush (just like mine), the bed my friends husband took, the sheets were bloody, and the other bed hadnt been changed either. Sheets crumpled, bottom corner hanging, not tucked in. Her dog pee'd on the floor, so she cleaned it up, and the towel was black. Floors not swept or mopped!! I have stayed at this hotel for 10+ yrs when I needed to go in to Juarez, and this is the first time there were any problems. I did find out the hotel changed hands about a year and a half ago. New owner and management have let this location go to "the dogs". I dont know about the other La Quintas he/they own. Was only offered 50% refund for each room. As far as Im concerned, I should have been refunded in full. I will never book at a La Quinta again, especially this location!!!!"

"Room was clean had a nice view of the pool. No complimentary water in the room. A fan was provided in lieu of poor air conditioning. The TV was not a smart TV… these amenities are pretty basic in other hotels in the same area with a lower nightly rates. You are not allowed food from outside the hotel in the pool area even though their kitchen and bar close early. "

"The rooms are stuffy, old and dirty. The telephone was not connected. The furniture in the room is old and used. The reason I rented a room for the night was because of the indoor hot tube and it didn’t work!! The water looked dirty inside the hot tub and indoor pool. Very disappointed. Will never rent a room anymore. "

"AC was ok, a little noisy. The parking lot was well lit. Nowhere good for walking my dog."
