"Breakfast was very good. Had some of everything. Biscuits, gravy, potatoes, waffles and all the cereal and such. Lot of history in the building. Rooms were small but roomy. Highly recommend due to the proximity to all the historical sites and Riverwalk."

"Only one elevator working for the first 24 hours. Breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people the first day, but it was better the second day. Room was clean and spacious. Good location to riverwalk and Alamo. Rooms are made up daily."

"We liked the property as well as the location. We loved the complementary water and beer upon arrival. What we didn’t like was the price of valet parking, it’s very pricey, and the only other option were parking structures that were located offsite. We also weren’t happy that certain complementary items that were available were not mentioned to us at check-in so we were unable to use them."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton hotel. The staff has excellent customer service, from the check in staff, to the valet workers. The food in Dean's Steak and Seafood restaurant was absolutely delicious, from breakfast to dinner. I recommend making reservations especially on the weekends. The only thing I missed was having a microwave in the room. Also the pictures of the rooms on the website, make the rooms look bigger than they are. The bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff was excellent. I highly recommend the Kimpton hotel. I will definitely stay there in the future. It's in a central location downtown San Antonio."
