"The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. There were many choices for breakfast. The hot cinnamon rolls were delicious! I could only make it to breakfast once,because I had to be somewhere very early.I asked if I could have something I could take with me. The desk clerk was able to give me some juice but nothing to eat. It would have been nice to be have something to take with me."

"The hotel is a historic 1909 former high rise with original elements incorporated into the function of the halls and rooms. Expect as much when you stay and you will be overjoyed with the experience. The original hardwood floors are gorgeous and the elevated “modern” 60’s flair of the lighting and furnishings is distinguished. The bed is super comfy, also! "

"Check in was fast and seamless. Other La Quintas have charged a fee for my dog but this one did not charge extra, which was huge! The room is nice and clean , with fridge. I added this property to my phone for next time I am in San Antonio. "

"The hotel was great, however, I didn’t receive my free wine, was not offered upgrades nor any “perks” I was supposed to receive as part of my gold status. "

"Near most of everything downtown related to San Antonio, took walks around the neighborhood and neighbors were friendly. No complaints from host. House was neat and had everything we needed!"

"We didn't have breakfast on the property. which is why we didn't rate it. However, we did get an upgrade on our room for no extra charge! Sweet! When there was a problem with the toilet, it was taken care of promptly. When we needed clean towels, we got them immediately. Tina and Israel were so nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will definitely remember this motel next time we're in San Antonio. "
