"I usually stay here as it is affordable, in a quieter part of town, and every room overlooks the water and Wallops Island. The staff is very friendly and called to let me know I had left a insulated cup behind. Highly recommend giving this place a try."

"The room was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately we had very little to NO hot water! Even though we let the water run ahead of time, it was barely warm and turned to freezing within 5 minutes in the shower. We would definitely NOT recommend staying at the Anchor Inn! Clearly all of the owners’ profits and resources are used for the adjacent Marina Bay Hotel."

"Again, our bathroom was filthy had to clean tub ourselves. We could not receive additional wash cloths as there was none. The washcloths we received were filthy dirty and actually had handprints on them. The staff was incredible. They provided great customer service and upon hearing about the state of our room, my stay was already comped. For this reason, I would definitely give them another chance."
