"Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This is single handedly the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel, and I was in the building for under an hour. After entering the room that had been reserved for nearly a month, I was shocked with the condition of it. The bed was unmade and disheveled, sheets and pillows were not clean, dirty towels were thrown around the main living space and bathroom, soap provided by the hotel was opened and on the bathroom counter, used toiletries were left on shower shelves, garbage cans had not been emptied and trash was found throughout the hotel room, and a red stain was found on the counter. Due to these conditions, as well as the complaints of previous guests, we were not comfortable continuing our stay at this hotel out of concern for our health and safety. We returned to the front desk to inform them of the conditions of our room and the housekeeping manager referred to this issue as a "mystery" and offered to clean the room. We were not offered to be moved to a different room. We've been fighting to get a refund from the hotel for days now, and it has gone absolutely nowhere. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and stay somewhere else."

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked that there were four pillows on a king size bed and they were pillows from soft soft to a little more firm so you really got a good choice of what pillow would be comfortable for you. The air-conditioning units in the room are a little loud, but on the whole, the hotel was quiet at night, which is where it counts the most when you’re trying to sleep. Would definitely stay there again when in the Zealand Holland area."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay as the staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was getting our room cleaned. The hotel cleans rooms every other day. Since we didn't need any cleaning service for a few days, we had the do not disturb tag on our door. We then took the tag off the door and even after a couple of days the cleaning staff never came to our room. I notified the hotel desk about it and they had a member of the cleaning team come to our room to clean it. Issue solved!"

"Nice one-night stay here. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and was excellent. Pool and hot tub were nice. We especially liked the lobby, which had a drink station and books and games for kids."

"Things they cannot help: it's an old building, with VERY thin walls. We were privy to our neighbors conversations, whether we wanted to be or not. Things they CAN help: Filth and misleading advertising. First our room was filthy. The baseboard was peeling away from the wall, with nails exposed, it had clearly not been even vacuumed (as evidenced by debris and prior customers key card on the floor), the bathtub/shower was moldy and filthy, the door of the fridge was sticky. We ended up wiping down every surface with lysol wipes - but the tub was too much for those to handle. Next - they only provided 1 partial toilet roll. (Really). I didn't think much of it until we discovered (at 3am) that there was not a "next roll", and then we ran out of tissues. In the hallway leading to our room, there's a door, off the hinges. Just leaning into a room of some sort. What's up with that? "Oh yeah, it does that." Also, the outside door near our room stopped working. When I notified the front desk the response was "oh yeah, that happens". Excuse me? That is an unacceptable response, and if you know it's an issue and are awaiting repair, put a note! If you're such a crappy hotel you're not bothering to repair it, still, leave a note! So inconsiderate. Luckily we're not handicapped, but there are handicap parking spots, so those people are unlikely to be able to walk all the way around to the front when the door doesn't work. Second, the advertising makes it sound like it's walking distance"
