"Great staff, the bathroom and beds were clean, but the carpets in the halls and elevator were dirty and the grounds needed a weedeater. And the pool was out of service. It was good enough overall, though, just aging and needing more staff."

"Rose was so friendly on check in. The staff in the morning were amazing as well. Water pressure on shower was great. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion smelled AMAZING! Will definitely return."

"Great location, spacious room. Perfect for families! Breakfast included with all the norm as expected - sausage, rubber eggs, biscuit and gravy, bagel and toast, cereal, and self-made waffle station. There were also whipped cream and chocolate sauce for the waffle, which was exciting for the kiddo. Indoor swimming pool - fairly small, hot tub - good size, plus steam room and sauna. Staff were all very helpful and friendly… will definitely consider going back!"

"We can’t say enough about our time at Inn to the Woods, from the supportive and flexible communications around travel and arrival to the extremely welcoming amenities. We had privacy to enjoy our time together from our lovely sweet and private hot tub and also enjoyed connecting with other guests during locally sourced breakfasts with the lake in view and the seat warmers making us comfortable."

"The hosts gave us the room and code for a remote check in when our train kept getting later and later. The decor is simple and very cute. It was hard to get an Uber late at night from the train station in Mt Vernon. Best bet is to try both Uber and Lift but we did wish we’d just rented a car as we would have explored the area more."
