"Located "around the block" from a small 2-way (other countries it would be one-way, but then it would not be Thailand) lightly trafficked commercial street, number of small eateries, modest restaurants, some Indian, some Arab; not sure there are enough "heads" for all the hair salons and barber shops... three convenience shops (one is of course the ubiquitios 7-11), quiet at night. No shortage of street food, pushcart wagons; there is even an old lady that grills in front of her home (!) evenings... Hotel is charming, isolated in residential street, housing 3-4-5 levels, bit of a cul-de-sac; no "thru" traffic... very peaceful, yet only a ten minute walk to the madness and mayhem of Walking Street, then Beach to the right. Hotel is comparable to Miami Beach art deco; no language problem at this establishment, or in general here... unlike Bangkok Yai... Good place to stay, my second sojourn @NN, decided to make it five weeks."

"Positives and negatives. Overall satisfactory bearing in mind it’s a budget hotel. Building work going on (only notified by way of a notice on reception desk on arrival), but would have been good to know in advance. Very noisy each night, throughout the night with doors being slammed, guests playing music on their phones right outside my door, and a constant beeping noise from the corridor making sleep difficult and meaning I opted to check out a day early and move to a different hotel to get a better nights sleep before my flight home. In hindsight, I should have cut my stay short and moved to a different hotel to sleep better, as I was left exhausted each morning which meant I often ended sleeping in until lunchtime. Most staff friendly and helpful - especially room attendants and reception staff, 1 breakfast colleague particularly rude, but others seemed nice (if a little intimidated by the rude member of staff) Shower flooded each time it’s used, so needed to be quick to prevent it overflowing. Shampoo/conditioner and body wash provided - and much appreciated. Air conditioning great, beds comfy (firm), on the route for the baht bus making the location excellent for quick access to both Pattaya and Jomtien (which are also walkable. Good WiFi signal throughout property. 7-11 convenience store right next door. A good place to stay if you intend to be out all night, and sleep all day, but not great if you want to sleep between 11pm and 5am. Otherwise, take earplugs. "

"The front desk girls were amazing. The maintenance staff not very personable and look like a high school kid. The room was atrocious! This hotel DEFINITELY needs updating both inside and out. Huge pool, but very little lounge chairs and umbrellas. It's Thailand for goodness sake...It's hot here! The beds were like sleeping on a piece of wood, and my wife had a sore back for 3 days afterwards. The air conditioning was barely operable and NEVER cooled the room down to the selected temperature of 25C. We rented a room with a queen and twin bed. They are on wheels and would move if you turned over to fast. This photos online are deceivingly nice, not what you will receive. The maintenance that has been performed looks like it was done by inexperienced individuals. The breakfast buffet was blah! Nothing at all worth noting. I would look for something else entirely. On a plus note there is a little cafe called "Chillin Home Cafe" Great food, great atmoshere that is right up the street. "

"It goes to say that the money you pay for a room not really propertional with what you get. It was the most affordable hotel I took in Thailand and still managed to provide so much value. The air conditioning was on spot. Bathtub nice. Close to party but not that closed to have time to think about the time out before you get in the room back. "
