"Staff where very friendly, but it was a maze to get to the room, clearer signs need to be put up to direct people to their rooms. Due to warm weather it would have been ideal for the rooms to have A/C"

"We booked an accessible room as my husband has walking difficulties but is not wheelchair bound. We were very dismayed to find all the bedrooms were at the rear of the property from reception. Our allocated accessible room was nearly 200 yards from there and whilst we were moved to a regular bedroom immediately on entering the bedroom block, it was still the better part of a 150 yards walk back to the entrance. Initial reception - given questionnaire with another guests details, spoke of our ‘standard room’ which I pointed out was incorrect - booked a superior room. "The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)"

"Hotel was clean and nice My tv didn’t work and asked for it to plugged in properly Foond out they had fitted new ones and no one had the expertise to connect the Ariel So even though I checked in Tuesday and left Friday they still couldn’t get it fixed My colleague booked in and they gave her a room and key card then said it was cancelled which was a bit weird and the succeeded in re booking her the same room"

"Very pleasant stay for 1 night attending a business meeting locally. They can use an extra pair of hands behind the bar for the early hours of the evening when there was a bit of a queue. Otherwise couldn't fault the place and will gladly be back again."
