"While the place on the surface looks nice, the Captains Cottage was situated near service entrance which made early mornings noisy with trucks and drop offs and also near the bins. In addition the wifi was pretty much non existence and staff was not very helpful when we brought it up. Finally the place was a little damp - smelling a little mouldy especially near the kitchen/fridge area."

It would seem that most rooms have been renovated and the rest are going to be done, Gret to see the new owners retaining the bones of this beautiful old motel while refurbishing it tastefully"

"Easy check in and good value for money for one night. The place needs some improvements especially the shower and sink, both old and stained. Also noisy with thumping feet above you if you are in a bottom room. "
